International Festival of Arts & Ideas Preview June 4th

Join us on WPKN & WPKM this Saturday June 4 at 2:30 in the afternoon for a two hour preview of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas. Our broadcast features Festival Director Mary Miller, Caribbean drum teacher Ras Mo, audio historian Andy Horowitz, and many more, interviewed by Doug Echols, Valerie Richardson, and Walter Wagoner. Musical selections include children’s’ favorite Ella Jenkins, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, The Brazz Brothers & Women United from Cape Town, Madrid’s Ojos de Brujo (“óh-hos day bréw’-hoe”), and the Transylvanian Mountain Boys.
