Recorded live in a Toronto basement
4:00 p.m. - Cliff Furnald
Don Rooke and Jeremy Bellaviti are guitarists who have played together for several years, including a weekly gig as the band Noisy Porkers, and a tour of Italy as the duo heard here. Rooke, leader of the band The Henrys, plays acoustic lap-style Hawaiian guitar. Bellaviti plays the steel string acoustic guitar. This recording was made especially for this broadcast, live in Rooke's home and includes his own compositions, the duest's improvisations and a unique version of Mingus' "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" to finish things off.
