He will talk about how to look after yourself and your family while caring for your aging parent. 10:30 a.m.: We will speak with Joan Anderson talks about her new book A Weekend to Change Your Life. Her first memoir, A Year by the Sea: Thoughts of an Unfinished Woman, won her national acclaim when it appeared on the Best Seller Lists of the New York Times, the Boston Globe, and the San Francisco Chronicle, and ignited a grassroots fire among women looking for a way to make sense of their lives. Joan Anderson hosts weekend workshops which have attracted women from all over the country. Part two of our interview will be heard on October 14th. 12:30 p..m.: Juan Williams has had Enough. With his new book, the senior correspondent for NPR takes aim at today's African-American leaders and criticizes those who would perpetuate a black culture imbued with victimhood, materialism, misogyny and murder. Williams books include Thurgood Marshall: American Revolutionary and Eyes on the Prize: Americas Civil Rights Years, 1954-1965. 1:00 p.m.: Eric Davis talks about The Visionary State: A Journey Through California's Spiritual Landscape. This is a book of photography and text, exploring the diverse spiritual and natural landscapes that have been a part of the regions character from its earlier days. Whether Davis explains how the states jumble of freeway temple architecture arose, or illuminates the origins of the Zen boot camps and UFO cults; the stunning photographs by Michael Rauner complement Davis words. Steven Earl Jones is a professor of physics at Brigham Young University. He is co-chair of Scholars for 9/11 Truth and co-edits the Journal of 9/11 Studies.
