Today on Jazz Adventures

3 PM Today's Jazz Adventures will be hosted by Larry Stoler. His guest at 3 p.m. will be jazz pianist, educator, Sirius satellite radio host and author Judy Carmichael. Larry will speak to Judy about her multi-faceted career, as well as her upcoming performance on Saturday, June 2nd in Port Jefferson, NY at the Port Jefferson Village Center. Amy recently released “Anchors & Anvils” produced by Jim Dickinson whose work includes records with Ry Cooder, Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones (Sticky Fingers) and Bob Dylan. “She has the whole package,” Dickinson said, “In fact, I think it’s one of the best records I’ve ever made.” Amy's band will be playing at Café Nine in New Haven.
