As part of our regular October fund raising, as premiums we are offering many of the fine books written by this week's guests. In addition we have a limited supply of (5 book) grab bags of titles by authors who have interviewed here in the past. 10 a.m. Our guest is Wisconsin Public Radio’s Jean Feraca, writer, poet, and host of Here and Now: Radio Without Borders. Ms. Feraca talks about her memoir I Hear Voices: A Memoir of Love, Death, and the Radio. 10:20 a.m. Podcaster Steve Stanger joins me to discuss WEB 2.0 including social networking, podcasts, hardware and software. Besides the useful computer tips and product reviews, Stanger's "The Mac Attack" doesn't pull punches when big computer companies, like Apple, screw up. 11:00 a.m. We will speak with Anthony Weston author of How to Re-Imagine the World: A Pocket Guide for Practical Visionaries. Weston posits a world of creative possibilities. We値l talk about how good character influences the quality of life. 1:30 p.m. Richard Lavoie returns to our program to talk about his new book: The Motivation Breakthrough: 6 Secrets to Turning On the Tuned Out Child.
