Next, Andi Zeisler, co-founder of "Bitch" Magazine, will speak with Binnie about her new book Feminism and Pop Culture (Seal Press),"A smart, politically savvy explanation of how twentieth-century culture has affected women" (Alison Piepmeier, PhD)
12:00 noon: New Music New Haven. Concert performances recorded at Yale University in New Haven, hosted by composer Martin Bresnick. This month, compositions from a "Cross-Atlantic Composers' Partnership" between the Royal Academy of Music and Yale University to present compositions for the chamber orchestra as defined by György Ligeti's innovative "Chamber Concerto," which is also performed.
