- Diane Walsh, pianist and musical director of the Broadway Show "33 Variations," a play by Moises Kaufman, is Kevin Gallagher's guest. They will be discussing the Beethoven Diabelli Variations, considered to be some of the greatest compositions ever written for the piano and the fascinating story of how Beethoven came to write them. Diane Walsh is a winner of the Munich ARD Competition, Salzburg Mozart Competition and many other awards. She has fifteen recordings including "Beethoven: 33 Variations".
