Jammin' good time in Newtown Friday night

Friday, November 18th Benefit concert for WPKN with The Breakfast and Cosmic Jibaros at the Edmond Town Hall in Newtown, CT. The Breakfast is a Jammy award-winning band from East Haven currently tearing it up on the tour circuit. Formerly called Psychedelic Breakfast, they recently released their third album, Real Radio. Cosmic Jibaros is a seven-piece Latin rock band from Bridgeport. They've been heard performing live on WPKN during the October pledge drive. This band draws Latin and non-Latin audiences to dance to their highly rhythmic, party-starting sounds -- "but we still have traditional [Latin] elements and the salsero people come in, and they get it."
