  • Elizabeth De La Vega, former federal prosecutor from Minneapolis and San Jose discusses the Libby Indictment, Traitor-Gate and the White House criminal conspiracy.
  • Marjorie Cohn, professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law and president-elect of the National Lawyers Guild looks at the Supreme Court nomination of Samuel Alito.
  • Tom Barry, Policy Director for the International Relations Center, examines the aftermath of the protests and deadlock at the Free Trade Area of the Americas treaty summit in Argentina and the wider anti-Bush sentiment throughout Latin America.

(AKA Cyntia McCorkindale) who'll talk about her CD "Bistro Blue", which has been described as Edith Piaf meets Django Reinhardt, and her performance on Saturday, November 12th at 9 pm at the Towne Crier Cafe in Pawling, NY. Cyntia will bring recordings by Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet.

10:00 AM - Bob Johnson Author Ann Keeler Evans discusses her latest book Remembering a Life: On the Death of Your Beloved. This is a practical guide that helps you understand what needs to be done. She is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary who incorporates a wide variety of spiritual beliefs as she designs unique rituals and celebrations in order to comfort family members affected by the loss of a loved one.

11:00 AM, Bob Johnson My guest this hour will be attorney and author Elaine Cassel. She will talk about her book "The War on Civil Liberties: How Bush and Ashcroft Dismantled the Bill of Rights."

12:00 noon - Bob Johnson James Kakalios is my guest. Kakaliios is a professor of physics at the University of Minnesota and has just penned a new book called The Physics of Super Heroes. Critical thinking skills can be taught using science fiction and comic books. From Newtown's Laws of motion to Planck size nanobots, Kakalois tells us how much physics comic book writers get right. 1:00 p.m. - Bob Johnson Christy Harvey from Center of Amercian Progress will talk about Chalabi's visit to the white house. She is the Director of Strategic Communications at the Center for American Progress and co-editor of both The Progress Report and the blog, ThinkProgress. Christy is also regular guest on The Al Franken Show on Air America. She’s been published in In These Times, the Nation, Michael Moore’s The Official Fahrenheit 9/11 Reader and The American Prospect Online.
