11:00 a.m. Our guest this hour is Derek Murrow, the grandson of Edward R. Morrow who has recently co-authored the Environment Northeast's "Roadmap for the Reduction of Greenhouse Gases in The Northeast and Canada." Murrow will discuss his work with the Yale's Department of Environmental Sciences and ENE's Roadmap Reduction report that proposes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 75 per cent by the year 2050. 11:30 a.m. Kica Matos, New Haven's Community Services Director will talk about how the community is responding to the events that occurred on June 6, when the FBI raided the largely Hispanic neighborhood of Fair Haven, arresting over 30 people. The immigration raids were conducted without prior notice to the local police, and affidavits show, that homes were entered and searched without warrants. 12 noon Singer/Song writer and author Judy Collins will talk about her new book "The Seven T's: Finding Hope and Healing in the Wake of Tragedy." She has recorded 43 record albums, her latest "Judy Collins Sings Lennon & McCartney" is due to be released July 17th. The late Richard Farina once said: "If amethysts could sing...they would sound like Judy Collins." 12:30 p.m. Excerpts from a conversation between Christopher Lydon and Norman Mailer in a program that was aired this past March for Public Radio International's Open Source. She will talk about her book for busy parents called "The A to Z Guide for Raising Happpy Confident Kids." Dr. Berman addresses twenty-six of the most important issues that modern parents face.
