2:30 p.m. -  History Counts "A Peace to End all Peace" During World War I, Britain and France negotiated a secret peace treaty dividing the Ottoman Empire into new nations controlled by them. In so doing they set the stage for years of western intervention in the Middle East including the U.S. led war in Iraq. Our guest is Professor David Fromkin, author of A Peace to End all Peace, The Fall of the Ottoman Empire and the Creation of the Modern Middle East.
