  • 8:00 p.m.: Join Valerie Richardson when she will welcome to the WPKN studios Amanda Maples, Research Assistant at the Yale University Art Gallery, and Douglas Post Park, Ph.D. Candidate in Anthropological Archaeology at Yale University. Amanda and Doug will be talking about their recent trip to Mali and an excavation project currently taking place in the historic city of Timbuktu. They will also be playing some of the music they picked up on their trip. Also during the evening, Valerie and daughter Genevieve will be speaking with their friends Chris and eight-year-old Sarina who will be attending Tuesday's inauguration ceremonies.
