Westport Community Theater Benefit Performance for WPKN

On Thursday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m. the Westport Community Theater presents a special performance of Jason Miller’s That Championship Season directed by WPKN’s Bob Johnson. Call 203-226-1983. Tickets are $15.00, and the net proceeds benefit WPKN. The 1972 Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play, That Championship Season, was regarded as one of the more important plays of its time. After seeing the Broadway production, New York Times critic Clive Barnes wrote, “Mr. Miller has a perfect ear...
