• Talk with Brad Matsen about his new book Descent: The Heroic Discovery of the Abyss. The story of the bathysphere, its invention and use. The story of William Bebe & Otis Barton's exploration of the ocean abyss in the 1930s. Originally from Bridgeport CT, Matsen had been an environmental writer for 30 years.
• Murray Lerner, Film Director. Lerner is an award (Oscar) winning documentary filmmaker. His films about the Newport Folk Festival and The Isle of Wight Festival document changes on our musical culture. Lerner talks about his work with Miles Davis, The Who, Newport, the Isle of Wight festival and Isaac Stern.
