The story of Moses Asch and Folkways Records

10:00 PM - David Schwartz Moses Asch was the founder and force behind Folkways Records. Now operated by the Smithsonian Institution, Folkways released scores of recordings folk and ethnic music. Artists included Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Ella Jenkins, Hudie Ledbetter and many others. Dave's guest will be Jeff Place, who is the curator of Smithsonian Folkways and sits in Moses Asch's chair.
