The Singers' Circle

2:00 p.m. - The Singers' Circle We'llwill be rollin’ live with ROLLA on The Singers’ Circle this month! Comprised of Fuzz (of Deep Banana Blackout fame) on guitar and vocals, his wife Carrie also on guitar and vocals, along with Davis Shuman on bass and Phil Pitts on drums and percussion, Rolla takes its musical inspiration from timeless foundations of pop and rock (The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan), as well as from contemporary artists they admire (The Shins, Wilco, Modest Mouse). The centerpiece of ROLLA's music is Fuzz and Carrie's vocal harmonies, weaving bright, but laid-back melodies over clean and to-the-point electric and acoustic arrangements. The group has just released their second album, Fits & Starts, and will be playing some tunes live for us (if we’re nice…). Technorati tags: , , , , ,
