• 7:00 pm: On her show this week, Valerie Richardson looks back fifty years to the first publication of "The Elements of Style," the book by William Strunk and E. B. White that has become a tool for every student of writing since that time. She will speak with Dennis Baron, Professor of Writing and Linguistics at the University of Illinois, who takes a somewhat skeptical look at this book and all guides that lay out rigid rules for grammar and writing.
