Tonight on Counterpoint with Scott Harris: 1) Dr. Mary O'Brien, a graduate of Harvard Medical School who has practiced medicine in New York City for 30 years, a member of the faculty at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and a spokesperson with the group Physicians for a National Health Program PNHP takes a critical look at the health care reform legislation now moving through Congress. 2) Robert Parry, award winning investigative journalist, author and editor at ConsortiumNews.com, discusses reports that President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney secretly authorized CIA death squads to assassinate al- Qaeda targets around the world, while concealing this information from Congress. 3) Christopher Pyle, Professor of Politics at Mount Holyoke College and author of the new book, "Getting Away with Torture," talks about why he believes that President Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder, are violating their oath of office and the law by not investigating and prosecuting Bush administration officials for authorizing the torture of U.S. held-detainees. 4) Economist Max Wolff, a columnist and instructor in International Affairs at the New School University, assesses the state of the U.S. economy and the effectiveness of the Obama administration's economic policies.
