WE ARE BACK ON THE AIR!!!

We're cautiously optimistic that the electrical problems have been resolved, but only time will tell.Due to the recent difficulties, the Drum Circle has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 22nd. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Friday, October 14, 2005

On again, off again

Further electrical problems in and around our studios have forced us off the air again. Our landlord's electricians will have to take care of the situation, but until that happens, we are unable to use our studio. WPKN will return to the air as soon as possible, but we can't give an estimated time.
  • The WPKN/Quest Drum Circle will is postponed until Saturday, October 22nd.
  • The Long Island Benefit Concert will take place as scheduled on Sunday, October 16th.
We know this is frustrating. We never like to be off the air, and this comes at an especially bad time in the middle of our fundraising. Remember, our goal is $135,000 by October 31st. If you haven't already made your pledge, please pledge online to help us get to our goal.
