She discusses the Mumbai terrorist attack and the possible links to Pakistan and the U.S. war in Afghanistan.
  • Caroline Fredrickson, Director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s Washington Legislative Office, advocates that President-elect Obama and the incoming Congress act quickly to abolish U.S. policies that authorized torture and extraordinary rendition.
  • Robert Weissman, Editor of the Washington, D.C.-based Multinational Monitor, and Director of Essential Action talks about his recent article Nationalize GM, or at Least Think about It.
  • Barbara Edinberg, Assistant Director of Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition talks about the Connecticut Healthcare for everyone campaign, which is working to propose legislation in 2009 that will provide universal healthcare to all Connecticut residents.
