Marion Owen talks gardening
2:00 p.m. - Jeff Wignall
It's spring--time to start gardening! On March 21st, I'm going to have noted organic gardener, award-winning photographer and bestselling author (co-author of the New York Times bestseller "Chicken Soup for the Gardener's Soul") and pod-casting pioneer Marion Owen for a phone interview from her home in Kodiak, Alaska.
In this return visit to WPKN Marion will talk about: how she manages to keep 25 raised garden beds growing full blast in her far northern climate, her adventures with hundreds of returning bald eagles and she'll update us on the Augustine Volcano which is currently sending plumes of ash 40,000 feet into the air.
